A5 Christmas Junk journal printables
These lovely A5 Christmas junk journal printables are a free set of 10 x A5 spreads and 2 x pages of matching elements, all in soft blush pink, sage green and antique gold with a Christmas inspired theme.
Download them straight from this page, print them at home, and you have vintage-style Christmas pages ready for your junk journal. You can also access and edit these in Canva to edit and play around with the look and feel of them – I provide the link to do that below.
These are the pages I wish I’d had last December: cosy, nostalgic and with plenty of blank space to write on. Some spreads are almost entirely empty in the middle, so you can add handwriting or ephemera. Others are full scenes that work as a finished page.
What’s In The A5 christmas junk journal printables Pack
Below you’ll find the A5 Christmas Junk Journal Printables. They include the following:-
- 10 x A5 Christmas spreads. Candlelit trees, crackling fireplaces, frosty windows, a snowman peeping in at the glass, Santa mid-delivery, and a plate of mince pies left out on Christmas Eve.
- 2 x pages of elements. Page one is pink and gold festive pieces like wreaths, stockings, bells, baubles and a snow globe. Page two is cosy winter pieces like mittens, gingerbread, a nutcracker and a robin. These are best accessed through Canva so you can pick and choose which to use.
- Everything is sized for A5 and ready to print.
The Look
Forget bright red and green. This set is a soft, old-fashioned Christmas, the kind you’d find on a vintage card at the bottom of a keepsake box. That makes it easy to layer with the kraft paper, lace, book pages and tea-stained ephemera you probably already have.
Ideas For Using Each Spread
In my Life Junk Journal I like Christmas pages that hold real life rather than just looking pretty. Here’s how I would use these spreads:
- The mince pies and milk spread is perfect for your Christmas Eve traditions, or for the traditions you want to start.
- The cosy fireplace and armchair spread suits a “what I’m grateful for this year” page.
- The three friends with hot drinks spread works for a page about the people you spent the season with.
- The two pyjama-morning spreads are made for Christmas morning memories. Write down who was there, what you ate, and what made you laugh.
- The tree and presents spreads make natural gift lists, or a record of the gifts you gave and received.
- The snowman window spread has a lovely open middle for a letter to yourself, to open next December.
How These Were Made
Every spread and element in this pack was created in Canva, using Canva’s AI image tools. If you’d like to make your own version, here’s the prompt I used:
“Christmas inspired journal page, soft watercolor wash, home Christmas style elements and Christmas tree and presents and candles elements arranged as a soft border around an internal pale Cream wash Christmas scene, old paper, dusty blush rose palette, hand-painted illustration style, gentle paper grain texture, uneven organic edges, high resolution printable, portrait orientation.”
You can try changing the prompt by changing the colour palette, or swap the fireplace for a snowy village, to make a set that’s entirely your own.

The Spreads

The Elements Pages

The elements work best as individual pieces you can pick and choose from, so the easiest way to use them is through Canva. You’ll find them on pages 11 and 12 of the template, with all ten spreads on pages 1-10. You’ll need a free Canva account.
