A5 Christmas Baubles Junk Journal Printables
These charming A5 Christmas baubles junk journal printables are a free set of 10 x A5 spreads and 2 pages of matching elements. They’re built around hanging ornaments, pinecones, holly, snow, layered paper, gift tags and soft blush and sage ribbon with a lovely vintage Christmas feel.
Download the spreads below directly from this page, print at home, and you have vintage bauble-themed pages ready for your junk journal.
This set of free junk journal spreads leans more heavily on ornaments than my other Christmas packs, so if you love the look of old glass baubles on a tree, these spreads are for you.
What’s In these A5 Christmas Baubles Junk Journal Printables
- 10 x A5 spreads. Mostly open, corner-decorated frames with hanging baubles, pinecones and gift tags, plus a few fuller scenes with Santa, a snowman, a nutcracker, tiny fairies and a frosty window.
- 2 x pages of elements. Individual baubles, bells, a poinsettia, a gingerbread man, a wreath, mistletoe, a sleigh, a snow globe and more, best used through Canva so you can pick and choose the elements you want to use.
- Everything is sized for A5 and ready to print.
The Look
I love the soft blush pink and sage green aesthetic for a vintage inspired junk journal Christmas theme with baubles, aged paper, torn edges and touches of gold.
Some spreads are quite plain, just a decorated border with a wide open middle you can use. Other spreads are fuller and more detailed, almost like a finished collage in their own right.
That mix means you can use these Christmas bauble junk journal spreads for both quick, functional pages and any showstopper spreads you choose.
Ideas For Using Each Spread
- The plainer, open-bordered spreads are ideal for a page you’ll fill yourself: a Christmas to-do list, a countdown, or a place to stick in photos as the month goes on.
- The Santa and nutcracker spread suits a page about Christmas traditions passed down in your family, or the traditions you’re building now.
- The frosty window spread works well for a “this year in review” page, since there’s plenty of space to write.
- The fairy and snowman spread is a lovely one for children’s memories, or for a lighter, more playful page if your journal needs one.
- The elements pages are for topping up any of the above, or any other December spread that needs an extra bauble, tag or sprig of holly.
How These Were Made
Every spread and element in this pack was created in Canva, using Canva’s AI image tools. If you’d like to make your own version, here’s the prompt I used:
“Vintage journal page, soft watercolour wash, Christmas baubles and ivy and holly and holly berries, and pine cones and pine leaves on aged paper as a soft border around the edges, sage and dusty pink palette, hand painted botanical illustration style, 3d elements such as pine cones on tags with Christmas look and feel gentle paper crumpled texture, uneven organic edges, high resolution, portrait orientation”.
Try changing the ornament colours, or swap the pinecones for berries, or add snow or other Christmas related items to make a set that’s entirely your own.
